Next meeting is on December 18 at the North Oxford Association. We start at 7.3O and finish around 1O. We will be playing "Guess Whose Chart", so bring along a few of your own mystery charts. They need to belong to someone reasonably well known. We put them up on the projector and have a go at guessing. First prize is a mince pie. See you there. |

The Solar Returns Workshop
Our first one-day event, a workshop on the Solar Return or birthday chart, was a great success.
Guest speaker Lynn Bell, doyenne of psychological astrology, queen of the solar return and all-round clever woman was really wonderful. She managed to make us laugh, reel in astonishment, open our minds and think again.
The participants were also splendid: good questions were asked, attention was paid and some excellent comments were made.
Trinity College is always gorgeous, of course, and the Sutro Room itself has a particular atmosphere: studious yet theatrical.
The group would like to thank everyone who came – near and far - for making the day go so well.

To give you a flavour of the day here is a short clip of Lynn Bell speaking about astrological magic and the solar returns of 2013.

This Weekend
Just to remind you that the Solar Returns Seminar with Lynn Bell is this Saturday, November 9. Much excitement here.
•If you are coming by car, the Park and Ride in Oxford is good and drops you minutes from Trinity College.
•If you're coming by bus, take it all the way to the terminus at Gloucester Green, again minutes from the college.
•If you are coming by train, it's a 10 minute walk.
There will be tickets at the door if you haven't had a chance to buy one.
Lunch will be from 1-2pm.
Don't forget to bring your charts and sharpen your wits as well as your pencils.
